S Wedding Day | Portland, OR Documentary Wedding Photography

I don’t shoot weddings often, but when I do, it’s for amazing clients wanting a documentary style.  And I loved capturing this sweet couple’s story!

It was such a gorgeous day and a beautiful wedding. And of course it was a day filled with love and joy.

The day started out with fresh coffee while getting hair and makeup done before moving to the house to get dressed and the first look.  And then it was on to the McMenamins Kennedy School for a sweet intimate wedding ceremony.

Now officially married, it was time to celebrate with good food and great conversations.  There was laughter, toasts, tears of joy and dancing.  And I think there’s no argument that their son stole the show on the dance floor with his adorable dancing!

They cut the cake (and participated in an impromptu cake smash) before exiting through a waterfall of bubbles to their newly decorated car.  It was a beautiful wedding day surrounded by all their family and friends.
