It is always amazing to me how much babies change in that first year. They learn how to move, how to communicate and how to explore everything. I can’t imagine learning all that in a year as an adult!
I was so excited to photograph H’s 6 month session and capture how much he had changed since his newborn session. {See his newborn session here}. He had grown soooo much, was sitting up and working on his crawling. I came right after nap time and was greeted with those big blue eyes and a smile. It was hard, but I refrained from snuggling him the whole time so I could pick up the camera and actually take some pictures.
Oh, and feeding times, that is also something that changes so much during the first year. They go from constant feedings as a newborn to solid foods and sippy cups. I love being able to capture those bonding moments during feedings.
With all of that said, this is H at 6 months . . .
